
Monday Properties, a dynamic real estate investment firm and industry-leading developer, today announced that Wenzhen Cai has joined the firm as Vice President of Accounting. Cai will oversee financial operations and lead the accounting team for Monday's real estate portfolio and will be based in the firm’s New York office.
“Wenzhen brings deep expertise in commercial real estate accounting at precisely theright time as we continue to scale our portfolio,” said Ariel Cohen, Chief Financial Officer at Monday Properties. “Her track record managing complex real estate financials at institutional firms, combined with her comprehensive understanding of property-level and corporate accounting, will be invaluable as we execute on our growth strategy.”
Cai brings more than 15 years of specialized experience in real estate accounting to her new role with Monday Properties. Most recently, she served as Director of FP&A and Property Accounting at Brookfield Properties, where she led financial analysis and property accounting for the firm's New York City office portfolio. Prior to that, she was Assistant Controller at Brookfield Properties,and earlier in her career she worked at The Moinian Group in both finance and accounting roles.

Cai holds an MBA from Pace University and a Certificate in Real Estate Investment from NYU. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accountancy from Baruch College.
