Monday Properties, a dynamic real estate investment firm and industry-leading multifamily developer, is pleased to announce that Vice President of Acquisitions and Capital Transactions Macy Finn has been honored by Connect CRE with the outlet’s prestigious 2025 Next Generation Award. This recognition solidifies Finn’s reputation as a standout young talent in the industry and acknowledges her growth, impact and burgeoning leadership role with Monday Properties.

Connect CRE announced Finn and her fellow 2025 Next Generation Award winners across its national audience on June 25th. Each year, Connect CRE honors rising stars who will have a strong influence on the commercial real estate industry. Finn was selected as a winner for the New York & Tri-State region as a member of Monday Properties’ New York City office.

“Macy’s ambition, expertise and eagerness to learn has propelled her steady advancement at Monday Properties thus far, as she has worked closely with senior leadership on the expansion of the firm’s platform in vital growth markets up and down the East Coast throughout her tenure,” said Adam Carr, Chief Investment Officer at Monday Properties. “She exudes confidence and poise in every professional setting, and we’re pleased that Connect CRE has deservedly recognized her as the ‘Next Generation’ talent we know her to be.”

Since joining Monday Properties as an intern in 2018, Finn has earned five promotions and has played a pivotal role in eleven office and multifamily acquisitions, totaling $847 million in value across 2.8 million square feet. She plays a significant role throughout all phases of the firm’s acquisition process, which includes the multifamily, commercial office and life science asset classes. She is integral during the initial underwriting and due diligence, as well as the capitalization and closing process.

Most recently, Finn has played a key role in Monday Properties’ expanding multifamily platform, focusing on the acquisition of value-add assets in high-growth markets. She supports the acquisitions process through hands-on asset management and helps oversee capital improvement initiatives across the newly acquired properties.

Notable deals in her repertoire include a diverse set of commercial office assets like Shirlington Tower and Beauregard Professional Center in Alexandria, VA and Park Plaza I & II in Rockville, MD; as well as multifamily acquisitions like Villas at Princeton Lakes in Atlanta, GA and 75 Tresser and Harbor Landing in Stamford, CT.

“I am honored to be recognized by Connect CRE as part of this year’s Next Generation class,” said Finn. “This award reflects the incredible support I’ve received from so many mentors at Monday Properties, as well as the firm’s commitment to investing in its people. I look forward to continuing to learn, grow and advance Monday’s influence as a leader in the real estate industry.”

Finn holds a Master of Science in Real Estate from the University of Florida, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Florida Warrington College of Business. In her spare time outside of work, she maintains a focus on molding the next generation of real estate workers coming into the business behind her as an active mentor in the real estate program at her alma mater, the University of Florida. She was previously included on Commercial Observer’s list of Top Young Professionals in 2022.
