Monday Properties CEO welcomes chef Fabio Trabocchi's Sfoglina

Monday Properties announced today the official opening of Sfoglina Rosslyn, chef Fabio Trabocchi’s award-winning handmade pasta house, at 1100 Wilson Boulevard in Arlington, Virginia. This marks the third and largest location of Sfoglina for Trabocchi, one of the nation’s most widely celebrated restauranteurs, and his first location in Northern Virginia. The opening of Sfoglina in Rosslyn marks a momentous development for the neighborhood, catering to a sophisticated mix of office tenants and residents.

The 4,500 square foot space, which features hand-made and custom-designed details, seats 130 and features a 160 square foot glass enclosed pasta room, where guests can watch fresh pastas being handmade daily. A hallmark of all the Trabocchi restaurants is the beverage program, which features a wide variety of craft cocktails, spritzes, amaro-based drinks, non-alcoholic cocktails, and an Italian-centric wine list. Notably, Sfoglina Rosslyn will feature dishes that have become favorites on the Sfoglina Van Ness and Sfoglina Downtown menus, while providing several selections unique to this location. As an additional perk for tenants and neighbors of 1100 Wilson, Trabocchi’s team will provide catering services for events held on the building’s expansive rooftop deck amenity.

1100 and 1000 Wilson Boulevard (the Towers) are LEED-EB Gold Certified under the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) program. Sfoglina was awarded three stars and has been featured in The Washington Post’s Dining Guides. It also earned a 2018 and 2019 Michelin Bib Gourmand award.Additionally, Trabocchi has been awarded a James Beard Award for Best Chef Mid-Atlantic and Chef of the Year by the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington.
