Ariel Cohen leads multiple key divisions at Monday Properties, including investment management, treasury, legal compliance, property accounting, and corporate accounting. Ariel oversees strategic initiatives that span both the firm's commercial and multifamily platforms, which include 9,000 multifamily units and 2.5 million square feet of office space.
Ariel drives forward strategic initiatives focused on maximizing overall profitability and developing revenue-generating growth strategies. His responsibilities extend to facilitating joint venture partnership structures and developing investment thesis research. He also nurtures the firm's relationships with global partners and spearheads investment management along with debt execution for Monday's extensive operating portfolio.
Since he started at Monday Properties in 2011, Ariel has been pivotal in creating operational efficiencies and implementing cutting-edge technology solutions that support corporate initiatives, benefiting both the company and its partners. Ariel has successfully directed accounting and financing operations for more than 10 million square feet of real estate across various investment portfolios.
Ariel earned his bachelor's degrees in both accounting and computer and information science from Brooklyn College, graduating cum laude. He holds several prestigious professional certifications, including Certified Public Accountant status in New York State and the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation. He maintains active membership in both the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the New York State Society of CPAs (NYSSCPA).
