Derek Altobello

Derek leads asset management and portfolio optimization initiatives through the development of business plans and operational strategies for Monday Properties’ multifamily and commercial office portfolios. He provides critical support to the firm’s investment management platform through market analysis and investment evaluation, while also overseeing leasing strategies and tenant relationship management across the portfolio.

Derek is also involved in the firm’s acquisition efforts, conducting comprehensive due diligence and evaluating both new business opportunities and potential disposition initiatives. He actively supports a broad range of transactional activities, including lease transactions, financing arrangements, refinancing projects and recapitalization efforts across the firm’s portfolio.

Prior to joining Monday Properties, Derek was a Transaction Manager within JLL’s Public Institutions Group, where he led tenant representation efforts for the U.S. Postal Service. In this role, he completed more than 200 lease renewals nationwide, representing millions in annual lease value.

Derek is a graduate of Georgetown University McDonough School of Business, where he earned a earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in finance.
