Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Westreich is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Monday Properties, a vertically integrated real estate investment, operation and development company with a leading profile in the New York and Washington, DC markets and a growing pipeline of investment opportunities in select U.S. and international markets. He has 22 years of experience in real estate investment, operations and development, and in initiating, developing and leading successful organizations.
In 2004, Mr. Westreich established Monday Properties by acquiring 100 percent of New York based Max Capital Management Corporation and its 4 million square foot portfolio. As President of Max Capital from 2002 through 2004, he directed asset management, property management, construction management, leasing and development. Mr. Westreich became Chief Executive Officer after acquiring and rebranding the firm as Monday Properties. Under his leadership, the firm has completed 50 property transactions representing $12 billion in capital value and 25 million square feet, and has leased more than 7 million square feet of office space. Mr. Westreich began his career as a partner at Westfield Realty, then one of the largest private real estate owners in Washington, DC. Responsible for managing its operations, he oversaw more than 3 million square feet of office. While at Westfield, he also formed a joint venture with Eakin/Youngentob Associates, a leading Washington, DC home builder. The partnership has since developed more than 5,000 homes in 25 townhouse and condominium communities in and around the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Mr. Westreich serves on the boards of the Grand Central Partnership and the Lincoln Center Real Estate and Construction Council. He is also a governor of the Real Estate Board of New York.
Mr. Westreich is a 1991 graduate of Southern Methodist University and completed the Owner/President Management Program at Harvard Business School.
